The Ultra Oil Containment Boom is designed to quickly and efficiently contain the spread of an oil spill. 

The material allows large amount of water to pass through while capturing any oil and hydrocarbons from the flow, making it ideal for oil spills on the water.

Available Types:

• Filter Model - 10 Foot Long / standard oil boom
• Skirted Model - Skirt hangs below the oil boom capturing oil that is underwater but close to the surface.
• Rapid Model - Lightweight & Portable enables deployment within minutes.

Filter Model Features:

• Available in 10 foot long sizes.
• Made with Ultra Filter Tex material that absorbs oil from water much faster than standard polypropylene booms.
• Ultra Filter Tex material allows water to pass through freely while filtering any oil present on the water's surface.
  
• Each boom has connecting hardware pre-installed so multiple units can be quickly and easily attached for longer lengths.
• Units are designed to be connected with 1 foot overlap to insure maximum containment and coverage.

Skirted Model Features:

• Uses Ultra Filter Tex material to remove oil both at and below the surface.
• The Ultra Filter Tex allows water to instantly filter through the material and pulls off the oil selectively as the material is lipophilic.
• The weighted 34 inch skirt hangs below the boom, capturing any oil that is underwater, but close to the surface.
• Additional 60 inch skirts can be quickly added for deeper water protection.
• Multiple booms can be connected for long, continuous runs and easy deployment / retrieval.
• Unique material removes emulsified oil and dispersants. 

Rapid Model Features:

• Portable and Lightweight design supporting a rapid response that allows containment in minutes, not hours.
• Easy to use; only requires two non-specialized personnel.
• Instead of bringing people and equipment to the site after a spill, the rapid boom equipment is available on site for rapid deployment.
• Immediate response; contain marine oil spills immediately without heavy machinery or trained responders.
• Improves oil spill response effectiveness by containing oil when the spill occurs and stopping its spread.
• Helps reduce costly cleanup, negative press and regulatory issues.
• Unlimited length; contains any size spill with unlimited length capacity.
• Less storage required; 20% to 33% less storage space than ordinary containment booms.
• An all terrain vehicle can carry 500 feet and a 20 foot container can hold 7,500 feet.

Estimated Product Handling: 2 to 3 days

After placing an order, customers have up to 48 hours to cancel the order unless the item has been crated and/or shipped.

Orders for large or heavy items ship via a trucking carrier. Freight delivery is typically 2 to 6 business days, allow extra time for remote locations.

The Freight Carrier or Tucking company will contact you to set up an appointment time before delivering.  Once your product leaves our warehouse, we will send you an email with a link to the freight carrier’s website and the tracking number. Tracking numbers take 1 business day to update.

Package Inspection

Please inspect your package upon delivery. If there is obvious damage, please note the damages on the delivery receipt. Contact us within 24 hours to report the damage, by either e-mail or phone. Please retain all original boxes and packaging.

Returns (Applies to Ultratech products only)

• All returns must be pre-authorized and require a return authorization.  Please email sales@tankretailer.com to request a return authorization.  
• Returns are accepted for brand new and unopened products only.  No products may be returned after installation or attempted installation.
• All returns must be requested within 30 calendar days from the delivery date.
• The product must be in the original packaging and include all packaging materials, crates, boxes, and pamphlets.
• All returns include a 20% restocking fee.
• Customers are required to pay for the cost of return freight shipping.
• The final return amount will be calculated as the Purchase Price less return shipping cost less the 20% restocking fee.

Ultratech provides a 5 year warranty:

For a period of five years from the date of purchase, if an UltraTech ROTATIONALLY MOLDED PLASTIC SPILL CONTAINMENT* PRODUCT proves defective in materials and workmanship during normal use by the purchaser of this product, UltraTech International, Inc. (“UltraTech”) will arrange for its replacement or repair.

To receive repair or replacement, contact the distributor from which the product was originally purchased to initiate the process.

All repairs and replacements must go through the distributor from which the product was purchased.

UltraTech reserves the right to require proof of purchase in conjunction with any such return.

This warranty does not apply to any products which have been subject to any misuse, including but not limited to products used with materials (primarily liquids) that are not recommended by the manufacturer in instructions furnished with the product or in published product descriptions; products which have been altered in any way by the user or used in a manner inconsistent with their intended use; products which have been subjected to severe treatment (excessive weight, exposure to severe weather, dropping, improper use and operation, misuse, etc.) not reasonably associated with “ordinary” usage.
